    PBA Experience League

Tuesday, June 19, 2007, 11:17 AM CST [General]

Last week was week four of our experience league and we took on the Viper pattern. In shadow balls I found a pretty decent line by playing up 10 and standing on 15 with slower than normal ball speed and just letting the ball roll and not try and do too much extra. The first game ends up 197 with an open in the 10th. The second game is 180 with a couple of spare misses that I should have made and one split. The third game I decide to move inside a little more and I move my feet to around 19 and don't really move my target line so I keep playing around 12 to 10 or so. This line worked out good as I got good entry into the pocket and the carry was great. I shoot 252 the third game and then playing the same area the last game I shoot 215 with two ringing 10 pins. If I stayed behind the ball and let it roll I was fine, but if I tugged it or got the ball out a little bit farther I paid for it.  Next week is the Cheetah pattern.
